Traditional Employment History
I bring decades of experience in commercial and retail sales, marketing, management and systems. I entered the retail workforce right out of Secondary School, working at an independent camera store in a nearby small city. Returning to Toronto I took college courses in Business Management and moved off the shop floor to positions in Marketing and Purchasing.
I moved to Columbus, OH in 1996 and quickly started what would be a 12 year career as a Sales Professional. I have since worked in a variety of positions. My single-page resume is available as a .pdf for your review. More recently I completed multiple certificates at Columbus State College with an emphasis on digital photography and design, to keep my skills up to date.

dba Gryphon Night Enterprises:
Toronto, Ontario 1994-95
GNE was set up for my freelance graphic design and photography work. Before moving to the USA (see About Me for my family’s cross-border history) I also provided marketing assistance to an independent Manufacturers’ Representative. Efficiently installing plan-o-grams for multiple brands as Michael’s quickly opened a number of art & crafts stores across Ontario.
dba Gryphon Knight Enterprises:
Columbus, Ohio 1996-2001
GKE was set up for my freelance graphic design and photography work. I let the name registration lapse while recovering from a serious accident and 18 day hospital stay.
The Digital Gryphon LLC:
Columbus, Ohio 2009-
I’ve published a chapbook of my poetry & poetic prose, the creative writings of two others, and books of my photography and design work at Digital Gryphon Publishing.
I have been producing photographic images for over 50 years; my first assignment was for my high school yearbook. Currently my photography and graphic designs are available on apparel, gift items, and as frame-able prints through authorized Production Partners.
My Design background and Mystical Arts experience has led to publishing a small number of Digital Gryphon Oracle decks through Print on Demand partner TheGamecrafter.
