Canadian-Based Social Media

Recent actions of the current regime down here has increased interest and action to make Canadians less dependent on US social media (as well as many other American products).

I have joined each of the following three new sites; but don’t expect me to immediately ditch others I use to connect with family and old friends. And I won’t be rushing to post all sorts of content at the new sites. No tech-phobia; I’m an old hand at computers- since Dad’s IBM5150 from the early 1980s. It’s a balance, and Neuro-Delightful thing. I’ve signed up early enough to get the same handle at each.

Eh? is a Canadian (Vancouver BC) based platform that combines the best of Twitter (R.I.P.) and the old community-based Freenet sites for DOS and early Windows computers. Local connexion over international drama.

Hey.cafewas designed from the start to be fast, have no ads, we respect your privacy, and don’t include any trackers. We want to be a safe online community for people to share and make new friends.
