Supporting this Independent Queer Artist

(Sharing really is caring)

Self-publishing (books, oracle decks, greeting cards, Limited Edition prints, etc) have many advantages. Along with some drawbacks of course. If those works are offered through a Print on Demand production partner, the cost to have individual copies sent to reviewers quickly adds up. Reviews and other ‘word of mouth’ (? ‘word of mouse’ online) approaches are the only marketing strategies available on my retirement income.

One of the best ways to support my art is to purchase it. Given the state of the various civilizations sharing this planet, I could argue here that buying something that brings you even a smidgen of hope and happiness is a wise investment. My distaste for the hold consumption capitalism has on us and deep sympathy for anyone else struggling to keep income ahead of expenses means that I can’t be that glib.

If you love my work and want to support me, sharing my work- especially with positive comment- really does make a difference.

Each of the production partners listed below have plenty of information and images of my items available. Sharing with credit and a proper link is encouraged. And I do have .pdf files of text-based books for anyone that has a website (or social media platform) containing reviews. LMK.

PRODUCT TYPE- Books at Blurb.com
Text-based books generally have a .pdf version that can be emailed for review or requesting cover blurbs. I do have reviewer .pdf files for:
# my 2025 chapbook This Future is No Gentle Trophy (complete interior pages);
# Moving On: Poetic Prose by Jason Beilchick (2011) (partial interior pages).

Other titles I’ve published at Blurb are photography books. Most are larger than 8″x10″ so a .pdf won’t show full details but still be a huge download.

PRODUCT TYPE- Books at Amzn
One Out of Ten: The Poetry of Romanovsky & Phillips Lyrics includes 44 selections published to celebrate the 30th anniversary of R&P’s first musical appearance in 1982. I have a reviewer .pdf with partial interior pages. This book will be moved to a different partner once we’re settled in S/W Ontario and I have time to revise all the production files.

PRODUCT TYPE- Oracle Cards at TheGameCrafter.com
The creation stories for my series of Digital Gryphon Decks (Boutique decks for unique card readers) is at DigitalGryphonDesign.com. Most decks have a video flip-through at my youTube channel:

PRODUCT TYPE- Apparel & General Merchandise at Threadless.com
Over 150 The Digital Gryphon llc designs are available on a wide range of apparel items, and selected household merchandise. Again, I can’t afford to buy many samples, even at base price. Threadless has the largest selection of my designs, and an extensive offering of apparel styles, sizes and colours- along with select other merchandise.

I small range of designs and merchandise is available through Fourthwall’s production network.
